Bloxd.io Wiki

99 Nights was a limited time game mode in Bloxd.io that was inspired by the popular roblox game called 99 Nights in the Forest. It was added to Staging.bloxd.io on November 13, 2025, and was then added to the main website on 14th November 2025 in a gamemode vote competing against Sky Grid, and won. The goal of this game is to find all 4 kids lost in a foggy forest while trying to survive 99 nights.

Gameplay[]

When you start the game, you will spawn in your campfire zone. Your vision is foggy, and the edge of the map is covered by enlarged Bedrock textures. There is a “campsite” at the spawn of the map, with a campsite in the middle, a Workbench that is used to craft items, and board that shows the four kids' names and their appearance a few blocks away. The campsite is marked out with a circle of concrete, which changes in colour with the level of the campfire. Draugr Knights and Draugr Warpers that spawn in the night cannot attack you if you are in the circle, but other hostile mobs can enter the circle and attack you. However, Draugr Warpers can teleport you out of the campfire and attack you if you are previously chased by it.

At the start, there are only a few pine trees around spawn. The map can be expanded by upgrading the campfire. Each level requires 15, 50 and 150 and 300 “fuel” respectively. The fuel can be Pine Logs, Pine Wood Planks, Coal, Rotten Flesh, or Spectral Logs. The radius of the map will be increased by a few dozen blocks each time it is expanded.

The area that is expanded contains resources like Wheat, Potatoes, Stone, Coal, mobs and more trees, as well as houses, watchtowers and ruins that contain loot chests. Some houses also have missing kids.

From the seventh night onwards, a Draugr Knight will spawn in every night and disappear in the start of the next day. You need to get within the blue circle around the campfire to be safe from the Knight, and staying top of the Watchtower is not safe. The Draugr Knight cannot be killed. If you try to hit them, they release "Invincible" particles. If the message If you are outside the campfire at night, the message “you are being hunted” might appear in your screen, and the Draugr Knight will chase you and teleport near you constantly.

Horde Attacks[]

At the night of day 8, a “horde” will attack the campfire, consisting of large amounts of Zombies, Skeletons and Draugr Huntresses. You need to run around in circles around the blue circle around the campfire to avoid being attacked by the horde or the Draugr Knight. The horde does not despawn in the morning of day 4 and since then, zombies, skeletons and huntresses can spawn at any area in the map. After a few weeks, there will be a horde attack every night. To be safe from the hostile mobs (excluding the Draugr Knight), you can stay on top of a watchtower. Additionally, an Iron Golem will soon join the horde, further increasing the difficulty of surviving.

Mobs[]

Passive mobs can give you resources when killed (I.e. food), and hostile mobs serve as a challenge to completing the game.

Pig[]

Pigs are passive and will not attack players The pig drop Raw Morsels when killed, and throwing it into campfire turns it into cooked morsels. Morsels looks identical to Porkchop.

Cow[]

Cows are passive like the Pig. Unlike the Pig, it drops Raw Steak and Leather when killed. Steak heals more health than morsels when cooked in the fireplace, and Leather is used as an item quest for the Traveling Trader.

Wolf[]

Wolves are hostile in 99 Nights and cannot be neutralized or tamed. Wolves are agile, and they can drain your health quickly if you are attacked by it and do not move. Without any protection, they deal 10 damage. Upon killing, they drop Raw Morsels like the pig, and Fur like the Bear. Fur is used as an item quest for the Traveling Trader. It is best recommended to hunt Wolves instead.

Bear[]

Bears are also hostile in the game, like the Wolf. Bears are large and deal high Knockback. They drop Raw Steak when killed, like the Cow, mad Fur. Fur is used as an item quest for the Traveling Trader.

Draugr Knight[]

Draugr Knights are hostile in the game, and they only spawn at night of the 2nd day onwards. They can spawn anywhere and will release blue particles when they spawn. Draugr Knights cannot be killed in this gamemode.

Draugr Zombie, Skeleton, and Huntress[]

These mobs spawn in hordes and only serve as hostile mobs to kill the player(s). Also, they can spawn in structures to make them harder to loot. All these mobs have the same drops as in Survival, excluding Zombies, which do not drop Rotten Brains.

Iron Golem[]

Iron Golems can only can be found in the largest building, guarding the stairway. The Iron Golem drops about 10 Iron Bars when killed. They will eventually join in the horde after for a certain point of time.

Draugr Warper[]

Draugr Warpers “wake” on the fourth day-night cycle, and has a chance to replace the Draugr Knight. They can teleport you to their position, and if you get close to them, your health will be taken in a similar way to the Poisoned effect. It does 10 damage per second.

Traveling Trader[]

The Traveling Trader is stationary (appears as the wizard skin), and appears after the first day-night cycle, fifteen minutes into the second cycle. He first gives you a Compass for finding landmarks. After that, he will now ask desired items to be brought to him for benefits for the game.

Landmarks[]

Landmarks are structures where players can find loot in loot chests, hostile mobs or kids. These are beneficial to the game, and they gradually improve later on campfire levels.

When a landmark has hostile mobs inside, it will be shown as “enemies remaining” while holding the Landmark Finder or near it. When there are no hostile mobs in the landmark, but there is still loot in it, it will be shown as “loot available”. When a landmark has no hostile mobs, and all the loot has been taken, it will be shown as “cleared”. Ores do not count.

Small Mine[]

The small mine is one of the most common landmarks. They contain ores dependent on how far they are from the campfire. Small mines that are closer to the campfire contains Coal and Iron ores, while mines that are further from the campfire contain Gold, Diamond and Moonstone ores. However, they only have 3 entrances/exits. You can commonly find coal and iron ores in small mines, but occasionally, gold, diamond, and moonstone ores can be found.

Camp[]

Camps have two white tents and a chest. They also have a fireplace that is not lit. You can find decent loot in them.

Shack[]

Shacks are like cabins. They have red roofs and maple plank sidings and can be found when the fire level is 1 or more. But they are ruined; they have no roof are broken down and have cobwebs everywhere. They have one chest, the same loot as in a camp.

Cabin[]

The cabin’s appearance looks like a house with a red roof. Upon entry, you will see a chest with loot (including Ammunition), a ladder to the attic, and a fireplace. Going up the attic will find the first kid: Bob. One more chest can be found (which can contain a Double Barrel).

Large Mine[]

The large mine is similar to the small mine, except it has more passageways and has a Dangling Rope going up the hill. There are 3 loot chests in total. Climbing up will find the second kid, Imara, and hostile mobs can be found. You can find gold, diamond, and moonstone ores in large mines.

Graveyard[]

The graveyard is one of the first landmarks to have undead mobs in it. They have some Draugr Zombies and a Draugr Skeleton guarding it. There are 2 chests in the graveyard.

Hut[]

Huts spawn on a three block high hill. They have a draugr huntress, a few zombies, and two skeletons. They don't have very good loot.

Longhouse[]

Longhouses have skeletons and zombies in them and they have 4 chests. The top chest (the one at the top floor) can contain knight swords, damage potions, healing potions, and diamond crossbows.

Tallhouse[]

The tallhouse is unique from longhouses, since its roof gives it the name. There will be an Iron Golem, a few zombies, and 2 skeletons at the bridge. Climbing up the rope will find Enoch.

Fortress[]

The Fortress is the biggest structure of all, it often houses late-game loot like knight swords and instant damage potions. Carmen is also at the highest point of the Fortress, where she can be found at one of the watch-overs with a loot chest.

Kids[]

One of the objectives in 99 Nights is to find all four missing kids. The name of the kids are Bob, Imara, Enoch and Carmen. They will spawn at fixed places in the map and can be clicked on to make them “found”. When a kid is found, he/she is teleported next to the campfire.

Bob is the closest to the starting and the house he's in has no mobs in it. He is in the red cabin, in the attic.

Imara can be only found with a Level 2 campfire. Imara can be found in a large mine. Find an area with crates, and a dangling rope for you to climb. Upon climbing up the rope, you will find Imara on the hill, near the rope.

Enoch can be only obtained with at least a Level 3 campfire. Enoch can be found at the tallhouse. You should ignore the Iron Golem and go to the nearest stairs. Then climb up and try to not be overwhelmed by the 2 skeletons. At the 3rd floor of the tallhouse, you will find Enoch.

Carmen can be only found at a Level 4 campfire. Carmen can be found at a fortress. You should try to get past the mobs on the first floor and go to the second floor. There are 2 ladders; one leads to Carmen, the other is a fake.

“Down” and reviving[]

When you are killed by a mob, the death screen will not appear immediately, and you will be “down”. When you are down, you will be in a sitting position, can only move extremely slowly and cannot be further attacked. A pop-up banner will appear at the top-right corner of your screen rarely, offering the chance to revive yourself by watching an advertisement. The banner appears the first time you are down.

Your inventory will be emptied while you are down, and a potion, called “drink to spectate”, will appear in your inventory. Drinking the potion will cause the death screen to appear. While you are spectating, the fog will still be there to make communicating information about locations harder. Do not drink this potion unless no other players are left in the game.

When “down” was initially added to 99 Nights, all players have a splash potion in their inventory called “splash to revive”. Throwing that potion at anyone who is down revives them. Now, players do not receive “splash revival potions” at the start of a round, but a pop-up banner will appear at the top-right corner of the screen, offering them a “splash revival potion” for watching an advertisement too.

You will only have 30 health when you are revived, so run away from any hostile mobs as soon as possible when you are revived, unless you are confident of your fighting skills.

Trivia[]

  • 99 Nights is the first official gamemode in Bloxd.io to have a day-night system. The player-made gamemode Grow & Farm added it first before 99 Nights was released.
  • The gamemode was inspired by the Roblox game 99 Nights in the Forest.
  • Initially, if a single player had just died, the game would restart in 10 seconds due to a glitch in the code.
  • If you click on the children while they're in the campfire, the "_ has been found" message appears. This has been fixed.
  • The game only ends when the players have found all 4 kids and survived 99 nights.
  • Initially, you can find a pile of stone, mine down and break stones underground to take cover from hostile mobs. However, the blocks underneath the piles of stone are now replaced with Super Compressed Messy Stone that cannot be broken.
  • It is the only gamemode with a number in its title.
  • The Kids can sometimes spawn in blocks, which could make an alarming sight, especially the ones you can’t break (Pine Grass Block, Extra Compressed Messy Stone, Crates, etc). Sometimes, they would also spawn entirely in a block, which makes you unable to beat the game. This has been patched.
