The Cave Golem is the 4th mob, and the first hostile mob, added to Bloxd.io. It was added on 7 March 2025. Although the name suggests that it is inspired by the iron golem in Minecraft, its appearance and body proportions does not remotely resemble it.
Spawning[]
Cave Golems spawn in deeper areas of Caves. They can also be spawned from cave golem spawners and by throwing cave golem spawn orbs.
Cave Golems can spawn as an enemy in Last Stand gamemodes and can very rarely spawn as an Iron Golem.

Cave golems are hostile and will attack players that are near it.

The setup to defeat a cave golem
Items dropped upon death[]
When you killed a Cave Golem, it will drop 5-10 Mossy Messy Stone and 1 Golem Eye. You can use a golem eye to craft a Golem Pickaxe, which will have a small chance of dropping Iron, Gold, Diamond or Moonstone fragments when you mine ores using it.

How To Survive[]
Here are a few ways to avoid a Cave Golem’s attacks or defeat a Cave Golem.
- Cave Golems does not avoid lava or spikes, so you can lure Cave Golems to take damage in a lava or spike trap.
- It takes a very long time for a Golem to move up one block. Take advantage of this by hitting them as they try to climb.
- Take advantage of the knockback from hitting the golem or getting hit and hit it when it approaches you. Do not run directly at the golem.
- If you are not confident of defeating a Cave Golem, tower up 4 blocks and shoot them with a bow or crossbow. Be sure that you have enough arrows in your inventory for this, as the Cave Golem has high HP.

Frost Golems are the Frost version of Cave Golems, they do the same amount of damage but also gives temporary Slowness to players.
