Enchanting[]

You can enchant your armour and items using the enchantment table. The effects of the enchantment comes in three tiers, which are I, II and III in increasing “power”. The enchantments for the armour and items come in 5 tiers, which are tiers 1-5. The number indicates the total “level” of enchantments you will receive from enchanting your armour. For example, for tier 5 enchantments, you can receive I, II, II effects or III and II effects for your enchantments (as long as the Roman numerals add up to 5), and as such.

When you enchant your armour, you will spend your Aura XP levels and have a random chance of getting each tier, and the effects for the enchantments are randomly chosen too. Enchantment tables come in five “tiers”, which are the wooden, stone, iron, gold and diamond enchantment table in increasing probability of getting you a better enchantment tier. When you open an enchantment table, you will see a slot at the left of the user interface to put the item you want to enchant there. If you put an item that can be enchanted in the slot, the possible effects that might be given form enchanting the item, with a short description each, will be displayed below the item slot. To the right of the item slot and descriptions, there are three random “prices” (in XP levels) for enchanting, with the probability of getting each tier listed below each price. A higher price means that you will have a higher chance of getting better enchantments. You have no control over what enchantments are you exactly getting each time.

If you are dissatisfied with the enchantments given to you, you can take the item that you want to enchant again out from the item slot in the user interface, put it back in again, and enchant your items again. Note that previous enchantments will be overwritten by the new enchantments.

Obtaining XP[]

You can obtain XP, and XP levels, from doing the following activities:

  • Breaking Mob Spawners
  • Harvesting crops
  • Killing Mobs and other players (players or mobs dying in spikes does not give you XP)
  • Mining Ores (does not work when you mine with a moonstone pickaxe)
  • Smelting raw ores
  • Consuming Aura XP fragments, orbs, potions, splash potions, or being hit by Aura XP arrows
  • Sleeping (staying on beds for at least 10 seconds)

Doing the following activities (except for sleeping) will also have a small chance to drop an Aura XP Orb, which gives you three additional XP levels when eaten.

When you die, you will lose exactly half of your XP. (For example, if you have 5 XP levels when you died, you will respawn with 2.5 XP levels, and as such)
