Farming a plant is to duplicate the plants such that it will give you a renewable supply of them. All plants can be grown instantly using bone meal.

Plants & Trees[]

Flowers and Mushrooms[]

Flower Farm

You can tap on a grass or dirt block with a hoe to turned it into a block of tilled soil. Flowers and mushrooms will spread slowly on tilled soil.

Cacti[]

Cactuses and fat cactuses will grow up to 3 blocks high on sand and 4 on red sand. You can get a bucket of water from a fat cactus when you tap it while holding a bucket. The fat cactuses will turn into a dry fat cactus and will return to a fat cactus after some time.

Farming of Vine

Vines[]

Vines will slowly grow vertically up on any vertical surface (in other words, a wall). Hoes or Shears can be used to quickly break vines.

Farming a sapling

Trees[]

Mining on the leaves of trees will have a chance of dropping tree saplings. You can plant tree saplings, and they will grow into trees after some time. All trees take up a space of 5 x 5 x 7 blocks, except for the pine and aspen trees, which are 8 blocks high instead of 7. A hoe can break leaves quickly while an axe can break wood logs faster. You can also use a moonstone axe to mine the entire trunk of the tree at once, as moonstone axes can mine blocks up to 7 blocks above a block at once.

Wheat[]

When you break grasses (not the grass block) and tall grass, there is a small chance of dropping wheat seeds. You can plant the wheat seeds on any surface, and it will grow into a wheat plant after some time. Mining on fully grown wheat plants will drop 1-2 wheat and 1-2 wheat seeds.

Cranberry[]

Fully grown cranberry bushes can be found occasionally in snowy plains and snowy pine/cedar forests. Tapping on fully grown cranberry bushes will drop a cranberry. You can plant cranberry bushes on any surface using a cranberry directly, and it will grow over time. You can use cranberries to craft bowls of cranberries, which can be eaten to give you the haste effect (where you break blocks faster) temporarily.

Juicy Growables[]

Juicy Growables include Melons, Watermelons, Pumpkin, and Bananas.

When harvesting Melons and Watermelons with any tool, they drop four Slices of Melon and Watermelon Slices respectively. You can craft four Slices into a Seed or a Melon/Watermelon. When growing Watermelon, there is a 0.01% chance it will grow an Iron Watermelon that has to be mined with a Pickaxe that is Stone tier or above. You can craft it into 128 Iron Bars, but you can't craft an Iron Watermelon. When you harvest a Pumpkin, it will drop itself, but you can craft it into a Seed via a Workbench. You can make Pumpkin Pie and Jack-o-Lanterns with Pumpkins.

You gain increased Damage when you eat a Pumpkin Pie, Invisibility with Melon Slice, and Jump Boost with Watermelon Slice.

Use an Axe to improve efficiency on the three normal Juicy Growables, and use a Pickaxe to mine Iron Watermelon. A Moonstone Axe will make Watermelons and Melons drop themselves and not slices.

Cotton[]

You can place cotton seeds on any surface, and they will grow into cotton plants after some time. Tapping on every fully grown cotton plant drops 2 cotton and 1 cotton seed. Cotton cannot be crafted into cotton seeds.

Corn[]

Place a Corn seed on Tilled Soil, and it will grow up to three Blocks high. The top two Blocks will yield corn if you right-click them when they have yellow pixels. A Seed will drop from breaking any part of a Corn plant.

Eating Corn will grant you a shield of 20 extra Health points.

Chili Pepper[]

Place a Chili Pepper seed on Tilled Soil or Sand, and it will grow up. Right-click to harvest Chili Peppers when it is mature. You gain the Heat Resistance effect when you eat it. A Seed will drop if you break it. Chili Pepper grows faster on Red Sand than normal Sand. If you plant a Chili Pepper Plant so that it's touching Lava on any side, including above, the Chili Pepper Plant will grow in a red color and drop two Chili Peppers instead of just one.

Developer crops[]

Crops that are obtained only with code blocks. They do not have any purpose for now, but these crops will be possibly added in a future update.
