This article documents a feature that has been removed from the game. This article is only being kept for documentation purposes.
Fishing is a game mode in Bloxd.io where players have to fish for money. This game mode was released on October 29, 2025, and removed one day later, and was then added back and removed on October 31, 2025.
Gameplay[]
When you first start the game, you will receive a free fishing rod, that uses the icon of the stick in the inventory, called the “starter rod”. You can click on any water body to throw the bait into the water. After a while, a message “a fish is biting!” will appear across your screen for a few seconds. To catch a fish, you have to click on anywhere using the fishing rod during the before the message disappears. Before a fish is biting on the bait, you can also click anywhere on the screen to keep the bait.
You can sell the fish you caught in the “selling” section of the b-menu. There is also a NPC, using the textures of the trader, a short distance from spawn called “fishmonger”. Clicking on the NPC will open the selling menu too.
You can upgrade your fishing rod at the shop of the b-menu to have better chances of catching rarer fish.

- The game does not have a “teleport to spawn” option in the menu.
- The cover of the game is one of the few to be of actual game pictures
- Although Players have a health bar in this game, they cannot attack other or lose health in any way.
- The Moon Strongfish and Moonfish resembles the color of moonstone.
- The Red, Green, and the Moon Strongfish strangely resembles birds.
- For some reason, you have a lower chance of catching Wheatfish when fishing near the jungle.
- The fishes in Fishing cannot be obtained in Creative and Survival.
- This map is probably inspired by the Fisch or Fish it in Roblox.
