How to defeat a frost skeleton[]
Frost skeletons can shoot you accurately from a far distance, but will lose accuracy when you move quickly near a frost skeleton. Additionally, they do not deal melee attacks to players. Hence, the best way to defeat a frost skeleton while losing as little health as possible is to attack them using a melee weapon while moving around them quickly. Using a bow or crossbow is not recommended it takes time to charge a bow or crossbow and they deal damage less frequently, and skeletons can shoot you during that period.
If you are low on health, it is possible to outrun a frost skeleton as they move relatively slowly.
Trivia[]
- Frost Skeletons have the ability to shoot from around 40 blocks away.
- It was inspired by the Stray in Minecraft.
- The aim of the Frost skeleton is so good that it can even hit you when gliding.
- Frost Skeletons, including regular Draugr skeletons, do not attack each other. However, they will shoot arrows at anyone who is attacking them. However, it is possible for a skeleton to shoot another skeleton accidentally, and combined with the fact above, two or more skeletons can get into a “fight” when they shoot at each other.
