Overview[]
Coins are the main currency used in many game mode in Bloxd.io. Coins are used in many gamemodes such as Greenville, Cube Warfare, Evil Tower, Doodle Cube, Bloxd Hop, Murder Mystery, Survival Royale, Natural Disaster, and Conqueror. Below is a list of the functionality of Coins in every gamemode that they are involved in. Not all gamemodes use Coins, as Bedwars uses Coal, Iron Bars, Diamonds and Moonstone instead.

| Greenville | In Greenville, Coins are used to buy houses, blocks, flowers, beds, Wool and equipments. |
| Cube Warfare | In Cube Warfare, Coins are used to buy guns and to buy powerups. |
| Evil Tower | In Evil Tower, Coins are used to buy boosts. |
| Doodle Cube | In Doodle Cube, Coins are used to buy the rights to use certain blocks. Currently it is used to change the look of Walls and Floors. |
| Bloxd Hop | In Bloxd Hop, Coins are used to buy boosts. |
| Murder Mystery | In Murder Mystery, Coins are used to buy Cosmetics. |
| Sky Wars | In Sky Wars, Coins are used to buy Mystery Kits, they will either give gems or kits. |
| The Pit | In The Pit, Coins are used to buy Items and other useful things. |
| Pirates | In Pirates, Coins are used to buy Mystery Kits, they will either give gems or kits. |
| Survival Royale | In Survival Royale, Coins are used to buy Mystery Kits, they will either give gems or kits. |
| Conqueror | In Conqueror, Coins are used to buy various amounts of items. |
Factions[]
In Factions, Coins are an item that can be stored in your inventory (and not only seen in the b-menu). This item is accessible in the Creative inventory. Gold Coins are crafted by pressing the [[B]] key and buying them or crafting them using a gold bar in a crafting table.

Gold coins (the item)[]
There is an item in Bloxd.io called gold coins. Not to be confused with the gold, it is an item you can put into and throw out of your inventory, and can only be obtained with interactive boards (e.g. press to sell boards) and code blocks. Gold coins does not have a special purpose or can be crafted into anything, but are “designated” as a potential currency in worlds lobbies and custom games.
