Draugr and Frost Zombies rarely drop Gold Fragments when killed, while every Gold Watermelon Stags is guaranteed to drop 10 Gold Fragments when killed.
When you mine on ores with a Golem Pickaxe, there is a small chance to drop an extra Gold Fragment along with the ore, regardless of which ore you mine

In Goldrush, mining on every gold ore drop a gold fragment instead of raw gold.
