Overview[]
The Creative Inventory when you are in creative mode.
The Inventory is a place in Bloxd.io where you store your Items and Blocks. The inventory consists of the hotbar at the bottom of the screen, your inventory at the left of the screen, and the menu of items that can be handcrafted at the right. In creative, the handcrafting menu is replaced with an inventory of all the blocks and items in Bloxd.io.
Stacking of Items[]
Up to 999 items can be stacked in one slot. However, these items cannot be stacked:
- All Potions and splash potions (empty glass bottles can be stacked)
- Water and Lava Buckets (empty buckets can be stacked)
- Bowls of Cranberries, Rice, and Mushroom Soup (empty bowls can be stacked)
- Guns
- Remote Moonstone Explosives
- Pickaxes, Axes, Shovels, Hoes, Swords, Bows, and Crossbows
- Sticks, Shears, and Compasses
- Armour parts
- Hang Gliders
- Books and Name Tags
- Mob Catchers, as well as empty ones
- Items that are modified by Code Blocks such that they cannot be stacked
Hotbar[]
The hotbar in mobile
The hotbar consists of ten slots that can be used to store items. Clicking on any slot in the hotbar holds the item stored in it, if any. You can only use items in the hotbar, and have to move items in the inventory to the hotbar to be able to use them.
To the right of the item slots, there is another square with an icon of a backpack on it. Clicking on the backpack opens the inventory. And to the left of the item slots, there is a square with an icon of a shopping cart on it. Clicking on the shopping cart will open the shop of the current game mode/lobby you are in, if any.
There is also a bar on top of the hotbar that shows the current levels and amount of Aura XP you have.
Inventory[]

Your inventory has 36 slots that can store your items. On top of the 36 item slots, there are 5 armour slots, with each for the helmet, chestplate, gauntlets, leggings and boots. You can place armour into those slots to wear them.
Handcrafting[]
You can craft some basic items without a crafting table. If you have any materials that are involved in the crafting recipe of items that can be hand-crafted, the item, and its crafting recipe, will appear to the right of your inventory. You can only handcraft items when you have all the materials required for that item.

Creative Inventory[]
In Creative, there will be an inventory that contains an infinite supply of blocks and items to the left of the inventory instead of the menu of handcrafting recipes. You can take an infinite amount of blocks and items in the inventory. Clicking on any slot in the inventory takes one of the block or item. If you press [shift] or middle click on a block or item in the inventory, you can take more than one, up to 999 of the block or item (for blocks and items that can be stacked). You can also search for the Item you want with the search bar at the top of the menu.
The only item which you can only take a limited amount of it are protectors in public creative lobbies (but not in creative mode in worlds). You need to break or place a certain number of blocks in order to get more protectors.
The moonstone explosive, remote moonstone explosive, bouncy bomb, fireball and iceball appears in the inventory of public creative lobbies, but trying to place them in the inventory to cause them to disappear immediately as “explosives are disabled in Creative” (this is to prevent players from griefing).
Trivia[]
- The fact that Bows and Crossbows can be crafted directly without a Workbench is interesting, as you need a Workbench and Furnace to get almost all of the ingredients (You need Stick, Iron Bar, and Cotton to craft it. Sticks require a Workbench while Iron Bars require both a Workbench and a Furnace).
- It is even stranger how you can craft an Iron Chest which is entirely made of Iron Bars.
