Lobby Roles is a Worlds feature added on 7/24/25. It allowed you to promote and demote anyone. There are currently 4 roles: Coder, Builder, Lobby Co-Owner, Lobby Moderator. This feature almost works like the ranks in Factions.
Roles[]
Roles are ranks of what person you can promote, having admin powers similarly to you. Below are currently 4 available roles that you can promote a player to in Worlds. Be aware: doing so will give the player all the admin powers, and could grief your server.
Lobby Co-Owner[]
Lobby Co-Owners can use world edit and use code blocks and ban, unban, and kick people
Lobby Moderator[]
Lobby Moderators can only ban, unban, and kick people.
Coder[]
Coders can only use Code Blocks to write code and the WorldBuilder.
Builder[]
Builders can only use Worldbuilder.
Assigning Roles[]
You can select a player, click on any of the buttons in the Lobby Moderation menu to promote players to assign them to a role, while you can click on “Assign to No Role” to demote players.
