Maverick is a NPC that can be found in One Block after the update on November 25th, 2025.
Appearance[]
Maverick looks like a wizard, wearing a cyan hat, clothing, and shoes. His main body under the clothing is navy, with a yellow belt. He also has long brown beard.

Maverick's Dialogue
When you reached the portal, a square speech bubble will appear to the right of Maverick and text will appear in the speech bubble. When Maverick finished saying a text, the speech bubble will be cleared and the words from the next text will appear. The text in the speech bubble are as such in this order.
Maverick: Hey! I seem to be lost. Could you tell me where I am?
Maverick: I came from a village that had a lot of portals. Something must’ve gone wrong.
Maverick: You have no idea? Oh well then, I’ll have a look around. Let me know if you need any help. I can help you with your portal.
New Dialogues[]
After 19 December 2025, Maverick can be found near the bridge to One Village (a village that replaced the portal hub), with the words “Portal Mage” above his head. Clicking on him opens the Portal Config menu in the shop. When you are near him, the messages below will appear in a square speech bubble next to his head:
Maverick: Glad you could join us! It was too quiet.
Maverick: Welcome to One Village! I can remember when I learned my first spell right on that bridge.
Maverick: I hope I don’t get lost again. I like this village.
