Information[]

Mob catches are an item in Bloxd.io that allows you to “store” tamed mobs in your inventory, Currently, the mobs that you can tame in Bloxd.io are pigs, sheep, cows, wolves, wildcats, horses, spirit golems, spirit gorillas, spirit bears, spirit wolves and spirit stags.

The mob catchers of spirit mobs can only be found in loot chests of ruins, and the mobs they contain will be automatically tamed when you released them.

Crafting Recipe[]

Mob Catchers can be crafted from 5 leaves from any tree and 1 Leather using a workbench, artisan bench or the handcrafting menu of the inventory.

Usage[]

You can right click (tap on mobile) on a tamed mob to “store” it in a mob catcher, and right click again to release them. Particles of red hearts are released when you release mobs.

You cannot stack mob catchers, including empty ones.

You can rename mobs in mob catchers using Name Tags.

It is possible to catch all mobs using the code block. From left to right: Magma Golem, Gold Watermelon Stag, Draugr Knight, Gorilla, Cave Golem, Draugr Zombie, Frost Skeleton, Pig, Sheep, Deer, Bear, Stag.

  • When the owner of an unstored mob is killed, all the unstored mobs will automatically be stored in a mob catcher.
  • It is possible to catch all mobs in Bloxd.io, including those that you cannot tame, using the mob catcher with code blocks.
