Mute is a punishment for the player, automatically issued when they attempt to bypass certain rules (e.g., profanity, dating, spamming) multiple times.

Mute message
When you attempt to write a message in the chat, it will disappear immediately. The message “Hi, I've muted you for (number) days for (how did you violate the rules) (against the rules) - please don't do it again" will appear in the chat."
You cannot use boards[]
You cannot write or edit boards either. This is so because players can communicate by writing on boards. However, this makes it nearly impossible to create interactive boards for custom games.
You cannot use Code Blocks[]
You cannot use code blocks to prevent you from writing code that sends messages in the chat.
You cannot change your username[]
If you try to change your nickname while you are muted, the message "You cannot change your name while muted" will appear.

- The only way to send a message to another player while you are muted is by a book or a name tag
- When texture packs are used while you are muted, some textures may be invisible.
