The picture in Discord of the developers announcing that they are going to add lore
This page is about the official lore in Bloxd.io. This page is created as the developers said that they’re going to add a lot of lore in 2026.
Rules for contributing lore[]
- Add sources for all lore. If the lore is from Discord, paste the complete message, with the author and the date, on here, or put a screenshot from Discord. If the lore appears in gameplay, put a screenshot from Bloxd.io. The hotbar should be in the screenshot to show that it is not cropped excessively.
- Creepypasta is not lore, except when it is considered as lore by the devs. (Don’t put stuff from the Creepypasta wiki!)
- Do not write lore that are not confirmed, created, or mentioned by the developers.
- When writing theories, avoid stretching the story to events, characters, places or whatever things that are not canon.
- Lore is NOT derived from normal game mechanics.
- DO NOT MAKE ASSUMPTIONS
Main lore (world of bloxd.io)[]
Once upon a time in the world of bloxd.io there was a moon, and it exploded and its fragments fell to Earth, becoming the moonstone ore. Because of this, there is no change of day and night in the world. Golems were created from stone and moonstone. According to the developers, there is magic in moonstonе that involved teleportation.
Fishing Lores[]
Draugr Survivor[]
In the current Fishing gamemode, there is a cave at the other side of Gloomtide island. A “draugr survivor” can be in the cave. Its appearance is identical to the zombie skin in Infection, and the words “cursed salesman” (with each letter spaced far apart) written in “cursed text” can be seen under the words “draugr survivor” above its head. Before 10 January, clicking on the survivor will cause the message “Grr, come back later” to appear on the screen and in the chat.
Now, clicking on the Draugr Survivor will open the “cursed salesman” menu in the shop that offers a cursed rod for 8000 coins.
Aether Minnow and the sinkhole in Eldermire[]
Also in the latest Fishing gamemode, there is a fish called the “Aether Minnow”, which is a reference to a popular mod (the Aether) in Minecraft. its description is: “a tiny shimmering minnow that glows faintly, said to feed on magical residue seeping from an ancient sinkhole.”
Coincidentally, there is a sinkhole 103 blocks deep in the middle of Eldermire, and Aether Minnows are commonly caught in Eldermire.
Meteor Impact[]
On the newest Fishing version, going to the side of Sunhaven will result in finding a path where Mossy Messy Stone & Rocky Dirt are scattered on the land, creating a dent, and Jungle and Normal Grass Blocks scatters the sea floor, as well with more Mossy Messy Stone at the end of the trail. There are some Moonstone Ores on the trail too, and at the end of the trail, there is a Block of Moonstone, representing the core. Using this information, the impact might’ve come a large fragment of a moon that had been turned into a meteor, which then landed here, leaving a visible trail.
One Village “Bank robbery” (One Block)[]
Behind the bank in One Village, there is a hole in the wall that leads to the vault of the bank, along with a ladder leading up to the hole. Some contents of the vault can also be seen scattered outside the hole. However, the vault is not emptied of contents, and Bling Bling (the banker) is not aware of this through his dialogues.
