Portal blocks are blocks in Bloxd.io. They used to be unobtainable in survival, peaceful or creative, but you can now find portal blocks in the inventory of creative.
Usage in game modes[]
Last Stand[]
In Last Stand, portal blocks of various blocks are used to spawn the hostile mobs in each round. You cannot pass through portal blocks in that game mode.
Grow & Farm[]
In Grow & Farm, there is a magenta portal block to the right of each player’s plot. You can press it or step on that block to teleport to the code block to sell your crops at the “main island” of the server. And in the “main island”, there is a portal, made of cedar wood planks as the frame 9 blue portal blocks between it, that allows players to teleport to their plot when clicked. Similarly, there is a cyan portal block to the right of the code block to sell your crops to teleport back to your plot.
One Block[]
The portal that allows you to teleport to other players’ islands is filled with green portal blocks. When you reached the portal, you can close your portal such that other players cannot teleport to your island. Portals that are closed are filled with red portal blocks.

Appearance[]
Portal blocks have 16 different colours like other decorative blocks, and they all appear to be animated by rotating the texture on each side of the block constantly.
Trivia[]
- The portal blocks are the second type of blocks to be animated, Lava is the first.
