Appearance[]

Default[]

Snow is white on all sides.

Snow appears as a white block with a darker square in the middle.

Tiny Bits[]

Snow appears as random pixels of a darker shade or white scattered across a block of a lighter shade of white. However, the top half of the block is lighter than the bottom half of the block.

JamBloxds[]

Snow appears as a lighter white block than the default, but with darker white patches mixed in.

Simple Better[]

Snow appeared as a solid white block, but with a smiley face in the center.

Bare Blox Bones[]

Snow appears as a completely white block, but with darker white patches mixed in.

Obtaining[]

There are many places where snow naturally generates in the game.

Snowy Plains, Snowy Pine Forests and Snowy Cedar Forests[]

Snow covers the topmost surface of the ground in these biomes.

Frozen Badlands[]

Snow can also be found in the Frozen Badlands biome. While packed snow covers the topmost surface of the ground in frozen badlands, snow generates 1-4 blocks below any packed snow.

Mountains[]

Snow can be found near the peak of Mountains covering stones from the height y=81 onwards. The snow gradually becomes thicker (up to 4 blocks thick) with increasing altitude.
