The Spirit Gorilla is a mob in Bloxd.io. You can find mob catchers contain spirit gorillas in loot chests. When you release the spirit gorilla from the mob catcher, it will be tamed immediately. However, you can spawn untamed spirit gorillas using spirit gorilla spawn orbs and spawn blocks in Creative. You can use a spirit saddle to ride a spirit gorilla.
Spirit Gorillas were added 10/29/2025 along side Spirit Bears, Spirit Stags, Spirit Wolfs, and Spirit Golems.
Appearance[]
It looks like a gorilla, with a big belly and orange eyes. It has a Mango equipped in its right hand. There are muscles on the back of its body. Its legs are short, and it is very light cyan in color.
Spawning[]
Spirit Gorillas do not spawn naturally. However, you can find a mob catcher containing a spirit gorilla in loot chests. When you release the spirit gorilla, it will be tamed immediately.
Items Dropped[]
Spirit Gorillas does not drop anything upon death.
Behaviour[]
Spirit Gorillas are always tamed upon release.
When Tamed[]
The Spirit Gorilla will follow its owner, attacking mobs that either provoked the player or itself. Additionally, Spirit Gorillas will attack any mob or player that the owner attacks. The Spirit Gorilla can also be interacted with a Spirit Saddle to equip it onto the Spirit Gorilla to have the ability to ride it. Strangely, you will sit on top of the Spirit Gorilla’s head.
