Structures are groups of Blocks that are only naturally placed in a certain way. They can generate in different locations of Open Worlds. There are currently five types of structures in Bloxd.io, which are the: Mysterious Ruins, Lava Pools, Jungle Ruins, Frozen Ruins and Underground Ruins. They can be mainly found in open world game modes, like Survival, Peaceful, Creative and Factions. There are extra preset structures in Factions which which are the shop, the camps, the Sand Mine and Wood Mill. However, they seem to be more of a utility instead of a naturally generated structure, similar to the work stations in Greenville.

Mysterious Ruins[]
Mysterious Ruins are mostly built out of Messy Stone, Compressed Messy Stone variants and Stone Brick variants. Almost all Ruins have Vines growing on them. Bigger Ruins also have Wood and some even Patterned Glass. Loot Chests mostly contain Food, smelted Ores, Tools, Armor and building materials like Stone, Concrete or Ceramics. They do not contain Diamonds, Moonstone or Diamond Equipment like Armor, except in secret chests. All ruins have hostile Mob Spawners in them (usually Cave Golem, Draugr Zombie, or Draugr Skeleton spawners).
Variations[]
Ruins come in many forms, which includes castles, churches, walls, statues, forts, and colosseums.
Loot Chests[]
Loot chests can contain anything from coal and bread to even tier 5 enchanted diamond tools, armor, bouncy bombs and spirit animals based on the chest tier(common, uncommon, rare, epic, legendary). Some loot chests are even buried underground so be sure to bring a shovel along. Usually, the harder it is to find the chest, the better loot it contains.
Lava Pools[]
Lava pools, as the name suggests, is a medium-sized pool of lava. Some blocks around the lava pool are replaced with magma blocks, compressed messy stone and stone.
This is not to be confused with small pools of lava around the world; if there are no compressed messy stone, stone and/or magma blocks around the pool, or if they are arranged in an orderly manner, then the pool is most likely constructed (or have the stone and magma taken away) by players.
Jungle Ruins[]
Jungle ruins have three variants, one is the one with the chalk bricks and two are in waterfalls.
The one with the chalk bricks are made of chalk bricks, brown mushrooms, stone spikes, cobwebs, Dangling Vine, Diamond ore, Coal ore, stone, jungle logs, jungle leaves, jungle grass, dirt and a loot chest.
There are two variants of the waterfall. One has the waterfall which is straight and has the chamber of loots near the middle. The other variant has the waterfall flowing down near the corner, and also has a loot chest in the chamber.
Frozen Ruins[]
Frozen Ruins are made out of many various blocks, but most have Stone Slabs, Messy Stone, Spruce Wood Planks, Spectral Log, Dirt, and Spawners. The Frozen Ruins contain a Mob Spawner, which are all hostile. The chests contain Ores, Blocks, and various Tools, while both normal and secret chests found in the Skull Temples have a possibility of spawning Diamonds, Moonstone, and Diamond gear (Moonstone gear sometimes spawns).
Variants/Variations[]
There are multiple Frozen Ruin variations, some of which are gigantic, such as the skull temple, and some of which are small, such as a graveyard. There are two types of hut, one with a spike trap and a small graveyard in front with one spawner, and a larger hut with 3 chests and one spawner. Some Frozen ruins also spawn likely to the normal ruins.
Underground Ruins[]
Underground ruins have many different blocks that spawn in them, depending on the variant.
Magma Golem Ruin[]
The Magma Golem Ruin consists of Loot Chests, Magma, Lava, Stone, Diamond Ore and Moonstone Ore. This variant consists of 4 Magma Golem Spawners. There are four chests too, and the middle two are guaranteed to be at least epic tier.
Large Dungeon[]
The Large Dungeon variants usually generate with Stone, Smooth Stone, Mossy Messy Stone, Andesite, Stone Bricks, Cracked Stone Bricks, Mossy Stone Bricks and Loot Chests. These variants have many different spawners that can spawn within them, such as the Draugr Huntress Spawner, Draugr Zombie Spawner, Cave Golem Spawner, and Draugr Skeleton Spawner. The Dungeon is the only place where you can find the Draugr Banner. There are 2 chests guaranteed of epic or legendary tier.
There is a variant of Dungeon similar to the Trail Ruins in Minecraft.
Tips[]
- Ruins spawn in the Plains and Forest Biomes, but it'll be easier to find them in the Plains Biome since there's no Trees blocking your view. If you're in a Forest, climb up one of the Trees, or find a Mountain and then climb on top of it to find the Ruins!
- Alternatively, you can also eat a watermelon and pillar up before gliding away.
- While looting the Ruins and Frozen Ruins, always dig deep around the Ruins to make sure there are no remaining Loot Chests left. But also beware of your surroundings because many hostile mobs might spawn around and ambush you while you are digging.
- Frozen Ruins spawn most in the Frozen Badlands Biome, which could have 5-10 ruins in one biome, making it the best biome for looting and getting spawners.
Trivia[]
- When they were first added, Mysterious Ruins had no Loot Chests in them.
- There is one 'hidden' Chest for each ruin type, containing the best loot.
- The Bookshelves in the ruins used to be Full Bookshelves that could be obtained.
- There are two ruin variations which are cathedrals.
- One of the Ruins has a Tribe logo on the back of it.
- It is possible that Ruins can spawn buried underground or flooded by a waterform. Ruins and Lava Pools can also spawn on top of each other.
- Traps can actually naturally spawn in one of the ruins.
- Magma also naturally spawns in the same ruin.
- Lava can spawn really deep touching bedrock.
- Some ruins have mineral blocks. For example, one flag in one of the ruins hides a moonstone block, while another fortress- / castle-like ruin has a diamond block hidden under a staircase.
- The pillars found in Frozen Badlands occasionally contain Diamond ore
- Magma can also naturally spawn in Frozen Ruins.
- The Frozen Ruins can be extremely glitched, some of which don't even contain a spawner. And some of them might have half of the structure buried.

There were also structures exclusive to Factions.
