Bloxd.io Wiki

The underground ruins are a type of Structure that can be found in caves in Bloxd.io. Underground ruins are released on 25 October 2025.

This update also introduced the Magma Golem and Draugr Huntress into survival, which can previously only be spawned in last stand and from spawn orbs and blocks in creative.

All the variants of underground ruins have messy stones as parts of the walls, which can be distinguished easily from the stone in caves. This makes underground ruins easy to find when you are near it, despite being relatively rare.

Magma Golem Ruin[]

The Magma Golem Ruin is the largest of all the underground ruins variants, making it relatively easy to spot and come across. It looks like a hollowed out area in the middle of the cave, with some pillars of stone seemingly making it look as if it is supporting the ceiling. In the middle, there is a large ring of magma blocks and lava. There are four Magma Golem Spawners on the ring. In the middle of the ring, is a small magma island surrounded by Lava. This ruin has four loot chests, where two can be found in the stone area of the Ruin around the magma 'donut', and the other two can be found in the middle island. This ruin is also very dangerous, not only due to the amounts of Magma Golems spawning, but Draugr Zombies, Draugr Skeletons and Cave Golems can also spawn because of the cave environment.

There are Diamond Ore and Moonstone Ore blocks at the bottom of the lava.

Large Arenas[]

These type of ruins resemble a large arena with depth and height incorporated all around it, making it look challenging to conquer. As the name suggests, it is the largest of all and it has two spawners, with a combination of any of these spawners: Draugr Huntress, Draugr Skeleton, Draugr Zombie and Cave Golem. It has smooth stone pillars supporting stone ceilings at both ends of the arena and a raised platform with Smooth Stone on top in a slightly sunken middle. You can also find the new Draugr Banners here.

Small Arenas[]

An example of “arenas”

These type of ruins resemble a small arena with a sunken platform in the middle, with a Draugr Huntress spawner or Cave Golem Spawner and two loot chests in it. The ground is of the “arena” is made of Stone, while the walls surrounding the sunken platform (but not the whole arena) are made of stone bricks. The walls of the arena are made of Stone, Messy stone and occasionally mossy messy stone, with some cobwebs at the corners of the ruin. The pillars are made up of stone bricks and smooth stone, although some parts of the pillars on the roof, and the roof itself, can be damaged. You can find the Draugr banners here on the each side of the “arena” on the walls.

These type of ruins shares many similarities as the “arenas”, like having messy stones and mossy messy stones as parts of the wall, having cobwebs at the corners of the ruins, and smooth stone and stone bricks as the “pillars”. However, they are much smaller and contains only one chest. No Draugr banners will appear in “dungeons”.
