The Wildcat is a neutral mob in Bloxd.io that was added to the Jungles since 7/3/2025.
Appearance[]
The wildcat has several variants, which are the default (orange with green eyes), tabby, grey, black, calico, siamese, leopard. All variants of the wildcat spawns in jungles.
Wildcats can be tamed like a wolf. When wildcats are tamed, a randomly generated name, in the format “(adjective) wildcat”, with “(username of person who tamed the wildcat)’s wildcat” below the name, will appear above the wildcat’s head. The wildcat will also wear a collar. You can view all the possible names we possibly found so far here (this directs to the Wolf page).
Taming[]
Wildcats are neutral and do not attack players, but will do so if another player or mob attacks it. Although wildcats do not deal much damage, they do not deal knockback and are fast, buying you less time. Wildcats can also drain your health quickly as it deals damage to players rapidly. Additionally, they give the weakness effect to other players while attacking them, allowing them to deal less damage to the wildcat.
| Armour | Damage per hit |
|---|---|
| No armour | 10 |
| Full wood armour | 6 |
| Full iron armour | 5 |
| Full gold armour | 4 |
| Full diamond armour | 3 |
List of perks[]
| Level of friendship | Perks |
|---|---|
| 1 heart | None |
| 2 hearts | The Wildcat drops Caught Fish when fed |
| 3 hearts | The Wildcat deals more damage |
| 4 hearts | The Wildcat gives a Painting |
| 5 hearts | The wildcat has a chance of dealing poison claws when they attack, but only whilst full |
You can tame wildcats by feeding them any types of raw or cooked meat (except for rotten flesh and rotten brains dropped by zombies). However, each piece of meat only has a small chance of successfully taming the wildcat, so remember to bring at least 10 pieces of meat if you want to successfully tame a wildcat in one go.
You can find catnip in jungles. You can feed a tamed wildcat catnip to give it both the speed and damage effect for 30 seconds.
Trivia[]
- The Wildcat has the same problem with the Wolf (the Wolf was patched) initially, where when you hit a tamed Wildcats, other tamed Wildcats will also attack it. This bug is fixed now.
- The Wildcat is the second neutral mob in Bloxd. The first neutral mob is the Wolf.
